DETROIT ROCK CITY.

Sometimes, you have to settle for shooting in a hotel room and in your car with the worst lighting in the world. I've been so busy with different things in my life including traveling to various places that I haven't had the time to do a real shoot in a while. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this outfit I wore when seeing Def Leppard and KISS in concert last week. I love to go a bit crazy with my style at rock concerts. I mean why the heck not, am I right?

I've Been Loving: Leopard Print♥

It's statement. It's edgy. It's rocker. It says "I'm not afraid to be bold." I must admit, It's only been recently I've really loved rocking different leopard printed items, due to the fact that I've seen it look so wrong on different people. The main key to rocking this print is to only were one or two pieces. That way it's not overpowering you or your outfit, but adding a unique touch instead. In today's post I'm going to show you some of my favorite items, where to buy them, as well as some ideas on how to wear. Ready?

{My Favorite's & Where To Buy}

Leopard Printed Oversize Scarf, Sole Society, $30.
Leopard Mid Rise Skinny, J Brand, $250.
Leopard Print Lace-Up Bootie, Charlotte Russe, $19.99.
Call Of The Wild Denim Jacket, Forever21, $16.99.
Leopard Print Negative Pencil Dress, Guess by Marciano, $198.

{Different Tips & Ways To Style}

If you want to make a statement with this print, try doing so like Kate Moss. (Just please don't show this much on top ladies, trust me when I say that you will get attention for all the wrong reasons...) Not only does she have this great jacket on with gold detail, but she goes even bolder by adding these cherry red leather pants. I don't know about you guys, but my inner rocker is screaming for me to try this look out.

If you just want a little bit of leopard print to add to an outfit, I would definitely recommend a belt. Like pictured above, tuck in your shirt for a cool and edgy twist.

Pictured above are three celebrities using it perfectly. I can't say this enough, less truly is more here. It not only makes your outfit more statement and eye catching, but also less busy and not too much or over the top.

So tell me my beautiful freaks...What do YOU think of Leopard Print? Do you find yourself reaching for it in your closet or are you not into it? As always make sure and let me know in the comment section below.

Winterlicious Tag♥

Hey everyone! So today I thought it would be fun to change it up a bit and do the Winterlicious tag. So grab some hot cocoa, a blanket, and get in the Christmas spirit with me! I will be tagging the people who I would love to do it on their blog as well at the bottom, but it is totally optional and open to anyone. (Also men, just answer the non-girly questions if desired. Haha.) You can either do it on your blog, post your answers in the comment section, or not do it at all.

Ready?

1) Favorite Winter Nail Polish?
My favorite winter nail polish is  Sinful Colors "Graine De Poivre." It's a lovely purple/brown color and is definitely popular this season.

2) Favorite Winter Lip Product?
I'm the kind of person who collects way too many lip products in general, so it's very hard for me to choose this one. I would most likely say that Maybelline's Stain Gloss in "Mauve Dream" is one I have been loving for winter.

3) Most Worn Winter Clothing Piece?
This season has been all about chunky scarves for me.

4) Most Worn Winter Accessory?
My silver chevron thumb ring. It looks very similar to one I found online below.

5) Favorite Winter Scent/Candle?
Firstly may I say that I am absolutely in love with Bath & Body Works candles. Although I love most of their winter scents - My favorite is their "Winter" candle hands down. It has a very sweet "Christmas Tree" smell to it.

6) Favorite Winter Beverage?
I'm definitely a sucker for Chai Tea lattes. My favorite are Thomas Hammer's.

7) All time Favorite Christmas/Holiday Movie?
I really love Elf (Who doesn't love some Will Farrel?) - But I must say that the movie "Annabelle's Wish" really brings back fond memories of my childhood. I remember loving that movie so watching it really makes me smile.

8) Favorite Christmas/Holiday Song?
I usually love the classics, but this year I've really been loving Train's "Shake Up Christmas" song. It's upbeat and puts me in the holiday spirit.

9) Favorite Holiday Food/Treat?
My mom's homemade sugar cookies.

10) What Is Your Favorite Christmas Decoration This Year?
I love the Christmas lights in my room this year. Very festive, whimsical, and magical to me.

11) What’s At The Top Of Your Wish List?
I actually don't even remember what was on my list to be honest...

12) What Are Your Plans For The Holidays This Year?
This year I plan to spend Christmas Eve with my family, we always go to church, come back and eat, and then open presents. Christmas day we always take a road trip to see my extended family.

All jokes aside, I hope you all have an amazing winter and Christmas. And again, I would love to see everyone reading this do this tag! Make sure and leave me a comment letting me know if you will and a link when you do!

How To Wear: Sequin Leggings♥

Hello my beautiful snow bunnies, so today I'm going to be writing a "How To Wear" post, sequin leggings edition. Haven't done one of these in a while, so unless you've been with me since the beginning this is the first you are reading one of these bad boys. In this post you will see five outfits I put together via Polyvore. (Link to my Polyvore page will be at the bottom.) Hopefully this will give you guys some fashion inspiration as well as get you in the holiday spirit.

This post was suggested by the lovely +Abbi Jordan of BlackWaterHoney. If you'd like to check out her blog (Which I highly recommend that you do), the link will be at the bottom. And if you'd like a Winter/Christmas inspired post that you would like to see - Leave it in a comment and I'll try my best to do it.

For this first look I took some silver sequin pants and paired it with a cobalt blue top and dark blue booties. I think that you should have at least one thing that stands out in an outfit, whether that be a bold color, print, or pattern. I also added hints of black to keep it classy and put together.

This second outfit is definitely something I would rock any day. Believe it or not, mint green is still a major trend in the fashion world. And pairing it with black always looks stunning.

This outfit was very "Holiday" inspired. Ugly sweaters can definitely give a sick twist to an outfit, which I think it does here.

This outfit can either be casual or a little more dressed up depending on if you choose to rock heals or flats. Either way it's quite lovely and would look great on just about any body type.

You know I can't end a post without adding something rocker, so above I've created this girly/edgy outfit that involves a lot of red, black, spikes, and skulls.

Winter Outfit Ideas (Part One)♥

Hello my fluffy marshmallows! I hope you guys are ready because today I am kicking off my Christmas series! Today I have searched for four winter outfits that I think totally rock - In the wishes that this can help you guys get ready for the chilly weather ahead.

This first outfit is great because it takes three staple items to have in your wardrobe this season (A chunky scarf, leggings, and riding boots) and goes off of that. I can't stress enough how important it is to have basics in your wardrobe. It will change your life.

This second outfit is based off of the "Ugly Sweater" trend. Trust me when I say that some ugly sweaters CAN be made pretty - I mean look at the outfit above! Pairing it with leather pants, healed booties, and a statement purse makes it look fabulous and classy.

One of my favorite things to do for outfits during the cold weather is making summer dresses look wintery. This look can be achieved by adding thick tights or leggings and a long cardigan. Not only that - But this look is great because if you have a basic dress like shown above, who knows the possibilities? Try dark green tights, a chunky necklace, or printed cardigan, for example.

This look totally appeals to my rocker side. I love wearing leather in the winter, and trying out crazy combinations is a total must. I love this look above because of these insane leggings, as well as the shoes that compliment them.

I've Been Loving: Doc Martens♥

Hello! In today's post I am going to show you some of my favorites of these lovely shoes as well as show you guys how to style them. But firstly, a quick history lesson by yours truly. Doc Martens were originally created by Klaus Martens in 1945. He actually created them after being in the army and realizing that his boots were too uncomfortable. Quickly he created the legendary shoe that would go down in fashion history.

  My Favorites:

These are a classic pair. The image that everyone gets in their head when talking about the infamous "Doc Marten".

This pair is another one that is really popular. It's simply a pair just like the black, but a dark cherry red color. To me, this is really grunge looking.

And to all of the mint green lovers such as myself, I think these are perfect and totally girly at the same time as being edgy.

They also make many different floral patterns on these bad boys, which I absolutely adore. I love these because like the ones above, they are feminine and rocker at the same time.

This is the last pair I am going to show you guys today. I really like the white plus the chains. People tell me all the time that white isn't an "Edgy" color, and well my friends, I hope this picture will help change your minds.

How To Style:

I personally believe that Doc's make a great addition to any grunge/rocker outfit. I love the ones shown in this picture, as well as the pants and AC/DC band tee.

Another great way to style them is to pair with a dress. I love this look above to pieces, very rocker but yet quite feminine and girly at the same time.

I adore this outfit for many reasons. Firstly, velvet is totally in this season, secondly this is an outfit not a lot of people would think to put together and thirdly, because of this amazing cardigan.

This last look is all about layering - Which I believe is one of the best ways to wear Doc Martens. It really enhances them, no doubt.

So tell me my beautiful freaks, what do YOU think of Doc Martens? Would/do you wear them?

Stay Beautiful,
-Mak

Seven Fall & Winter Outfit Ideas♥

So today I'm going to be showcasing my top 7 worn outfits by yours truly. I was thinking it would be a great idea to showcase them and hopefully give you guys some outfit ideas & inspiration for your wardrobes.Which is YOUR favorite?

1. This first outfit adds a pop of pink to a fall inspired get-up. You know, I'm told so often that you can't wear "Spring" colors in the fall, and I couldn't disagree more. Add a dark scarf, dark jeans, or dark accessories to complete the look an make it weather appropriate.

2. This next outfit I've been wearing a lot. Firstly I have this over-sized burgundy sweater, leopard printed pants, black wedged booties, and gold accessories to top it all off.

3. This outfit is for those days I feel like going a bit more crazy/edgy. I usually wear my ripped jeans, black tank, this camo/studded over jacket, and my combat boots. For accessories I tend to layer for this look, trying to adding anywhere from 3-6 necklaces.

4. This is my everyday casual look when I don't feel like trying, to be honest. I just take this Victoria's Secret "Love Pink" sweatshirt, jeans, and these kicks from Vanity.

5. This outfit is one of my favorites. I usually end up taking a dress with a crazy print, add a black cardigan and occasionally a scarf, and either pair it with heals or these black booties.

6. I like this outfit because it's a mix of edgy and girly. I usually take a lace top, pair it with a frilly scarf, ripped jeans, and a printed shoe.

7. This last outfit is one I rock a lot. I wear a black under shirt, stripped cardigan, jeans, and a pop of color for the shoe. For accessories I either wear a long necklace like the one shown above, or add a scarf.

Styled Person Of Interest: Adam Lambert♥

You know, to be honest I've never been a huge fan of Adam Lambert. He seems like a really sweet guy, but I'm a rocker/metal lover at heart so his music has never really attracted me. But one thing I really do love about Adam is his amazing sense in style. He never fails to wow me with his fabulous attire. So in today's post, I am going to show you guys some of my favorite outfits he's rocked over the years. As always make sure and let me know your thoughts on them in the comment section at the bottom of this post!

If I had to describe Adam's style in one word it would be rocker no doubt. He loves studs, skulls, black, and edgy pieces.

This outfit is really amazing to me. He mixes neutrals and modern accessories that create this beautiful masterpiece. The boots, jacket, and gloves really make this outfit amazing.

One thing that is a must for every person that has an edgy style is accessorizing. Adam shows this here with this chunky key necklace, belt, and leather gloves. I also must note that I'm totally obsessed with the color of his pants here.

Denim jackets are amazing. Firstly because they never really go out of style and secondly because you can wear them so many different ways. Take for example this one above - Studs were added to add a sweet vibe to the outfit, as well as the distressed look of it.

To me, this is the classic rocker outfit. I wish every man in America would dress this way. But alas, I don't know one who does where I live...*Sigh*. Anyways this look consists of a T-Shirt, accessories, black leather jacket, jeans, and a somewhat pointed boot.

I seriously cannot even begin to talk about how much I love this outfit. The pants, totally off the chain here, as well as the skull scarf peeking out of his jacket.

This outfit was totally amazing to me. To be honest I'm not the kind of girl who likes it when men dress up all of the time. So when I look at this and love it, that's saying something. This outfit has a very grungy vibe to it, especially with the shoes.

So tell me my beautiful freaks, what do YOU think of Adam's style?
