I've Been Loving: Kimonos♥

It's always funny to me how many trends make a come back. I've seen Kimono's come in style, and go back out of style. And guess what? They are in back and trending once more! So in today's post I will be showing you my favorites + where to buy, as well as some ways to style them. Hopefully this will give you all a little fashion inspiration and introduce you to this beautiful and popular item of clothing.

My Favorites + Where To Buy:

Floral Print Georgette Kimono, $22.90, Forever21.

I love this kimono because of it's design, as well as it's lovely shape. I would definitely wear this {Like shown above} with an edgier twist to fit my style, but if you're one of those girls who likes to look a bit more feminine, by all means do so and rock it with whatever makes you comfortable.

Embroidered Kimono, $110, Topshop.

I was hesitant on adding this one because I feel like a lot of people might get the "old granny" vibe here. But I really love it! I think the color is simply stunning and the embroidery is just beautiful. Am I crazy?

Reverse Sweet Worship Velvet Fringe Kimono, $78, Nastygal.

I can't even tell you guys how obsessed I am with this one. Purple is my least favorite color to wear {Simply because it looks horrific with my skin tone} but I don't even think about it when I see this beautiful piece. It's very rocker/bohemian and one of those things that I believe just about anyone could pull off.

How To Style:

Currently the most popular {And my personal favorite} way to style is with a tank top and short shorts, usually with some sandals or booties for shoes. This is a great every day look and would be lovely to wear during the warm days of summer.

Here's another example of that same look above, but with an edgier twist. Here we have a black hat, shades, tank top, and shorts, with this lovely pink floral kimono over top to add a pop of color. I love this look because it's very unique.

Since the fall season is among us, I thought I should also state that these look fabulous with jeans and a pair of heals too! The higher the better with an outfit like this. It would be a perfect girls night out look.

These two looks go hand in hand. Styling longer kimonos is a bit different but also great if you want to achieve a very edgy/rocker look. {Like, for example, Steven Tyler.} These looks scream free spirit and daring, so if you try one of these looks my dear, rock it with confidence.

The wonderful thing about kimonos is that there's one out there for everyone. Whether you have a girly style, simplistic, edgy, or bohemian, you can easily find the right on to fit your own personal style.

FIGHTING GRAVITY.

Hello my darlings! I love the idea of simplistic beauty when it comes to style. So that being said, all I am wearing in this outfit is this black dress from Wildfox, nude pumps by Brash, and black cross body purse. What do YOU think of my outfit?

#MyCosmoStyle Challenge {3 Outfit Ideas}

I feel honored to be one of the few fashion blogger's chosen to do the #MyCosmoStyle challenge! A big thank you goes out to those who chose me and made this happen. Imagine yourself in the luxurious Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas for a day. Sounds nice, doesn't it? Here I have created for you three outfits (For different times during the day & different venues) that I believe would be great to rock on your next trip. Make sure and check out Vegas.com for all of your trip planning needs, you won't regret it my darlings! All of the items in these outfit's can be found over on my Polyvore page {Link at the bottom}.

When I was little, my mom always told me that wearing black and blue was never a good idea. I've come to realize more than ever recently that it actually can be a lovely combination. This outfit is daring, bold, and a beautiful idea for brunch at Wicked Spoon.

This outfit is classy and feminine, with a very edgy twist. Black is a great color to have in one's closet because it's not only slimming, but statement. So my darlings, break out your little black dress, pair of heals, and rock that red lipstick for a dinner date at Jaleo.

Although I'm not really one to go out clubbing, this outfit goes out to all of my girls out there who do. This outfit is sexy, unique, and eye catching. I simply love the design of the dress and think it would be perfect to rock with a simple pair of pumps and studded black bag.

A Girls Guide To: Bras

Quick Update: Hello my loves! Thank you for all baring with me as I have been away on different trips and such lately. Ladies, we all know that bras are a necessity in one's closet. And today's post will be giving you some tips and tricks on how to pick out the perfect bra that not only fits, but is quality, has cuteness, as well as practicality all at the same time.

First things first... Find your size. This is something that most women fail to do, and instead spend countless hours trying on bras that might not even be close to their size. It will save you time (Because really, who enjoys trying them on?) Many department stores do this, like Macy's, for example.

Where should I start shopping? When I was younger, I made the mistake of shopping for bras at any place who sold them cheapest. And as I've grown older, I've come to realize how stupid I was for doing so. Please please please, do not go to Walmart and do not go to Target. They are cheap, never last long, and will not be as flattering as better and more quality brands. Although it may be a bit pricier, splurging a bit on undergarments is something I truly believe in. These are the base and the staple to your outfits.

Some good places to buy bras:
-Victoria's Secret
-Macy's
-Ross

Tips & Tricks While Shopping?

-Find a bra that is going to feel good and fit well. Although it's hard at times (Especially in Victoria's Secret), try not to get overwhelmed by the cuteness factor and instead find something that is comfortable and something that you'll actually wear without it hurting you. Now if it's cute and comfortable? You have a win win situation my friend.

-Be aware of color and texture. If you're going for practicality here, make sure and have one skin color and one black bra. When you start getting into crazy colors, patterns, and textures it's a different story. Because let me tell you honey, wearing a hot pink lacy printed bra under a white tee shirt or tank top is not going to look good on a day to day basis. Fun undergarments like these are definitely great to have as well, but just make sure that you have the basics in your closet first.

-Bring a t-shirt with you. After trying on your bra put it on. This will help you see if it's going to look good and flatter you (Shape wise) under simple shirts like these.

That's it for today's post my loves, I hope you enjoyed and were able to learn a few things about finding the perfect bra. Doing so will change your life, I assure you. Good luck to you all!

When most people think of "Rocker Chic", people think of  lots and lots of layers. Styled Person Of Interest: Jennifer Aniston♥

As I was trying to figure out who I wanted to spotlight today, my beautiful mother walked in my room and started to talk about how much she loves Jennifer Aniston. Perfect! I thought. Although Jennifer's style isn't exactly really unique, out there, or statement, she has a very casual chic look that I think is great for the simplistic woman who isn't looking to be the center of attention, but still look beautiful in what she wears! So in today's post I will be showing you some of my favorite outfit's that she has rocked over the years.

Jen's style has a very edgy vibe to it. On her days off you will spot her wearing a leather jacket and jeans, usually with a scarf. She knows how to add just the right amount of edgy to where she still looks feminine and girly but while also keeping that casual rocker look.

I love love LOVE this dress on her. She has such a lovely figure and really, you'd have to have that to rock this number. Sometimes, simple is better. You see celebrities wearing lots of jewlery, bold patterns and colors, etc - But this is a perfect example that sometimes less is more.

I think this outfit would be lovely for fall. Layer with a scarf, long coat, a shorter skirt, tights, and boots. Also I really like how she uses lots of neutral colors in her outfits. She loves to mix beige's, browns, grays, and blacks to create a subtle but quite lovely look.

This is the perfect "Casual Summer" look. As I keep stating it is simple, but just stunning! Focusing your outfit on one statement piece (And by statement I mean a loud color, pattern, or design) and keeping the rest pretty casual can create a really great everyday look that anyone can replicate.

My inner rocker is absolutely obsessed with this. Dark colors, leather, buckles, *Sigh*, can she look any better? I think not. To achieve an edgy rocker look, layering is key. Layer necklaces, tops, scarves, etc to bring out your inner bad girl/boy!

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I love black and how much I love leather. I think that Jen achieves another edgy look here, without it being too out there. If you are someone who likes that rocker vibe but doesn't want to look too out there or crazy, this is the look for you.

So tell me my beautiful freaks...Which look is YOUR favorite?

ADORE YOU.

Hello, my darlings! Today I'm showing you a casual outfit I wore shopping with my mom and sister. You know, anything with tassels and lace instantly attracts me. I guess you could say I find a lot of fashion inspiration from rockers like Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, for example. Am I weird to say that? Maybe. Do I care? Not in the slightest!
What do YOU think my beautiful freaks?

My Fashion Favorites {July 2014}♥

Quick Update: Hello my loves! It's great to be back and blogging for you all. I've really missed just being able to sit down and write. Thank you all for sticking with me while I've been away, my schedule this month has been absolutely insane. As much as I'd like to simply relax for a while, I don't see that happening any time soon. But having said that, I've been working like crazy to make some new posts that I think you'll be very excited about so stay tuned! You can also find me on all of my other social media sites, so make sure and follow me there for updates (Links will be at the bottom).

Anyways, today I am going to be sharing with you some of my favorite things that I've been wearing and loving like crazy this month. I hope you enjoy and as always make sure and let me know your thoughts!

Now normally I'm not one to shop at Christopher & Banks. While yes, they have great quality clothing as well as a wide variety of different items, but personally I don't really like 99% of what they sell. It's just an opinion of style! But having said that, I really do love this beige knit sweater. It's great for wearing over a cami in the summer and goes with many different accessories which I love as well.

This dress was originally bought in Hawaii. I had to get it taken in in the shoulders since it was too big, but once I did it was a perfect fit! I love the colors in this piece as well as the lacey middle. It's feminine, fun, and perfect for summer!

These jeans have been so much fun to wear with printed heals! Since I'm pretty petite, I like to roll up these just a little bit so they hit my ankles. This gives the allusion of being a little taller. (And we all know I need that!)

Oh my goodness. I cannot tell you guys how much I adore this Steve Madden bag. I got an amazing deal on this bad boy and have been using it every day since. I love that it goes with everything and adds a little something extra to almost any outfit.

These Celebrity Pink flats I originally bought to wear on the 4th Of July, but have been wearing them more than I thought. I'm really loving them lately!

DETROIT ROCK CITY.

Sometimes, you have to settle for shooting in a hotel room and in your car with the worst lighting in the world. I've been so busy with different things in my life including traveling to various places that I haven't had the time to do a real shoot in a while. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this outfit I wore when seeing Def Leppard and KISS in concert last week. I love to go a bit crazy with my style at rock concerts. I mean why the heck not, am I right?

I've Been Loving: Summer Dresses♥

For those who are new to my blog, I'll give you a quick summary of what these "I've Been Loving" posts are. Basically how it works is I choose one thing (Whether that be a specific item, brand, etc) that relates to fashion that I've been loving lately. Then I show you my favorites of this specific thing, how to rock it, and where you can currently buy it. I choose items that range in price to suit everyone's budget! These posts are in no way sponsored.

For this edition, I'm focusing in on summer dresses for 2014. Since the weather has been heating up where I live, I've been really into rocking them on an almost daily basis. Whether I'm hanging out with friends, working, or running errands, summer dresses are a staple item that every woman should have in her closet. Since I've done a post on how to style them already, I'm just going to show you all some of my favorites and where to buy. As always I would love to hear your thoughts on my picks. Enjoy!

Tribal Print Cutout Dress, $24.80, Forever21.

This dress is one that is not only flattering and cute, but also very comfortable. Definitely a win win situation here guys! Another thing I love about it is the fact that you could style it with different statement jewelry to give it a more fancy look, or keep it the way it is for a more casual every day look.

Oblige Sage Green Dress, $40.00, Lulus.

I know the whole "mint green" trend technically ended long ago, but I still absolutely love it! To me mint green is timeless, feminine, and classy. And this dress is just that, too!

Fitted With Daisies Dress, $128, Free People.

I can't even tell you guys how much I absolutely adore this dress. There are many colors to choose from, but I'd have to say this is my favorite. The deep red is just lovely and breathtaking! Another thing I love about this piece is it's shape - This would look flattering on just about anyone.

For Love And Lemons Lulu Dress, $138, Nasty Gal.

Nasty Gal has some amazing dresses. They may be on the pricier side, but their quality and unique look makes everything totally and in all ways worth it. I love this dress because of it's simplistic beauty. I think it's important to have a couple dresses in your closet that you can play around with (Accessory and shoe wise), and that go with practically anything you add to it.

Neon Racer Front Pleated Skater Dress, $32.99, Charlotte Russe.

It's always fun rocking a bit of neon during the summer. And although a lot of women stray away from it because of it's eye catching color, I think if worn right it can look quite classy and feminine. I also love the cut of this dress. It's modest yet beautiful and could be rocked with a statement necklace, like shown above.

Styled Person Of Interest: Gwen Stefani♥

To be honest, I've never been a big Gwen Stefani fan. I don't know why...it's not like I have anything against her or anything...Just not a huge fan of her music. But let me tell you friends, she has one amazing style. And in today's post I will be showcasing some of my favorite outfit's she's rocked over the years. As always make sure and let me know what YOU think of her style in the comment section below.

One thing that Gwen is often times spotted wearing is boyfriend jeans. She usually ends up rolling them up giving the look a very grungy/rocker vibe. I love this outfit because it mixes lots of edgy pieces with a few feminine touches to complete the look.

If you guys know anything about her you know that she loves to rock crazy printed shoes. They always look fabulous on her! I love this outfit because of how bold and unique it is. The shoes are the main focus here, while keeping her fitted jumpsuit a simple and neutral color.

One of my favorite things about Gwen's style is the old Hollywood glam look she has going on. Not only does she fail to wear red lipstick 24/7, but she also styles her hair almost like Marilyn Monroe's. Her clothes definitely represent a different era which I love.

I thought this was a really cute casual outfit. Her shoes and bag add a little pop of color while keeping everything else quite simple.

This outfit has a lot of retro elements to it, like the black bomber jacket and scarf. Her jeans and shoes are absolutely stunning, no?

As a little girl growing up, my momma always told me never to wear red and pink together. And in most cases, I would totally agree. That is unless you want to look like a walking Valentine. But I really do believe that Gwen rocks this red lipstick and pink leather jacket.
